The Learning Center has helped over 3,000 MSU students (including over 9,000 individual visits) since fall 2011. These are real-life testimonials from students that have benefited from tutoring at The Learning Center.

The Writing Center has computers, style manuals, dictionaries, writing guides, composition textbooks, and various handouts on citation and self-editing available as resources. The staff is a mixture of trained teaching assistants and composition faculty from the English Department. Students can schedule a 30-minute or 60-minute appointment to work with a tutor face-to-face or online, and we also have walk-in tutoring available on a first come, first served basis. They have several locations on campus, even in the library in Research Services & Online.
