Use of the web version requires registration first. This must be done on campus. Only current MSU students, faculty, and staff are entitled to use SciFinder. Once you have created your account, you will be able to access SciFinder from on- or off-campus, but you must go through the library's database page in order to be authenticated as an MSU user for off-campus access.
To create your personal account:

Follow the screen prompts and enter the contact information as
requested.
Users must register with your MSU email address.
Username must be 5-15 characters and contain at least one letter. It must start with a letter or number, but may include numbers, dashes, underscores, periods, or @.
Your password must contain a minimum of 7 and a maximum of 15
characters. It must include at least three (3) of the following:
- Letters
- Mixed upper and lowercase letters
- Numbers
- Non-alphanumeric characters (e.g., @,#,%,&,*)
