Beginning Fall 2021, you can earn a badge for attending three or more Survival Skills for Graduate Students workshops! Why earn a badge? Badges, or micro-credentials, can be an excellent way to document your accomplishments and dedication to professional development. The Mississippi State University Libraries uses Badgr for its badging platform. To earn your badge, review the badge criteria and complete the following steps:
- Attend three workshops Survival Skills for Graduate Students workshops during the same semester. Online and face-to-face workshops count but viewing recorded sessions does not count as attendance.
- Follow the instructions provided in the workshop to request participation in the badging process.
- Upon completion of your third workshop, you will be emailed information regarding your badge. You may set up an account at Badgr or you may download your badge for use in other platforms. (Linkedin.com, web page, etc....)
