Julie Shedd provides tech support for MSU Libraries' LibAnalytics installation. If you have any problems logging in, accessing forms, etc., contact her. If she is not available, contact Systems.
The Assessment Committee is responsible for setting guidelines for LibAnalytics and statistics collection/reporting. For questions about why a certain statistic is being collected, how data is being used, and so on, contact them.
Several departments use tick sheets to record statistics throughout the day. You can use one you develop (as long as it collects the statistics we need) or use the example provided here. (When printing, make sure your paper size is set to Legal!)
If you prefer not to have to go to LibAnalytics and log in, or if you have a number of student workers or will be accessing the form often from a mobile device, a widget is available. Note that if you use this widget, you will not be able to tell who entered those transactions in the Data Explorer, and the Internal Note field will not be available. If you need the Internal Note field, use this widget instead.
You can create a shortcut to this widget on your desktop or mobile phone, or have Systems do it for you--just put in a ticket.
