Provide electronic versions of library materials

Need help providing articles, chapters from books, supplementary readings and notes online? We can assist by scanning materials for you; you can make them available to your students via Course Reserves, Canvas, etc.

Record lectures or presentations

The MaxxSouth Digital Media Center provides the AV Studio to quickly and easily record audio or video presentations. The studio is set up so that you can walk in with a USB drive and, with just a few mouse clicks, record professional video or audio of a speech, lecture, or other presentation. It includes a TV screen that can display information while you're lecturing. Our staff are ready to assist you!

  • If you are using the AV Studio, please bring a USB drive.

To use the AV Studio, make an appointment at When you arrive at Mitchell Memorial Library, stop at the Computer Commons Lab and call (662) 325-7676. A staff member will come and escort you to the Studio.

The MaxxSouth Digital Media Center also has whiteboards and digital camcorders for instructors who need to record demonstrations of formulas, equations, or other information.
