How the CVM Library can help DVM students

Your CVM Library is here for you while you complete the first two years of vet school.  We have books to enhance your studies, printers and computers in our computer lab, group study rooms, electrical outlets and comfortable seating, and most of all--a friendly staff who are here to help you.  Some things to remember:

  • CVM Library is located on the 3rd floor of the Wise Center, just as you step off the elevators.  Click here to see today's hours.
  • Check out the CVM Library website, which has FAQ, info about operating hours, how to reserve a study room, and more.
  • Start at the MSU Libraries database portal to search for the latest information and research.
  • The MSU Libraries online catalog is here. Search to find broad, basic information on species, therapies and techniques.
  • Remember, don't pay for articles!  If we don't have something you need, we can get it for you!  To get started, fill out the InterLibrary Loan form.
  • If you get stuck, you can always live chat with a knowledgeable MSU librarian.
  • Email the CVM Librarian with questions at (or call 662-325-1114).
