Landscape Architecture

This libguide outlines a project to use web publishing, engaging students in an entry level Landscape Architecture course. As they work with drawing and design throughout the semester, images from assigned sketches are selected for inclusion on the course website. The course is taught with themes from a common reading program. "Same Kind of Different As Me" by Ron Hall and Denver Moore was required reading across freshman courses in Fall 2015 at Mississippi State University. Professor Elizabeth Payne Tofte uses themes and quotations from the book to inspire students to sketch.  Susan Hall, Associate Professor and Branch Head of the College of Architecture, Art and Design Library maintains the libguide.
