Class time:             Wednesdays, 2:00pm-2:50pm

Class Objectives

  • Become shrewd practitioners of research consumption and production
  • Discuss how libraries and literary criticism are integral parts of your research process
  • Discuss the various ways a literary research process can unfold
  • Select tools, methods, and practices for your own research practice
  • Determine and evaluate the kinds of information needed to develop and inform one’s own literary research
  • Use information technology to locate, use, and discuss literary criticism clearly and effectively
